Application Registration

This application allows certain users to register MTU ISO applications.

Change Your Password

This application allows a user to change his/her MTU ISO password. For more information on what this passord is used for, please view the FAQ Document.

Forgotten Password

This application allows a user to reset his/her forgotten password, if he/she can remember some secret questions established the first time the password was changed.

.htaccess File Generator

This tool allows a user to generate a .htaccess file for use with the MTU ISO system. The directives generated do not have to go in a .htaccess file. They could also be placed in an Apache configuration file, most likely between the tags.

Valid Login ID Generator

This tool allows a user to generate a list of valid and available login IDs for use with the MTU ISO system.

Private/Public Key Generator

This tool allows a user to generate a private/public key pair for use with the MTU ISO system.

Secret Questions

This application allows a user to add, change, or delete his/her secret questions. Secret questions are used to aid a user in if he/she has forgotten his/her MTU ISO password.

Select Private Information

This application allows a user to mark certain pieces of information public or private. For instance, if you want your email address to be public, but not your telephone number you would go to this application and make sure that your email address check box is not "checked", but your telephone number check box is "checked".

Change User's Password

Allows an MTU ISO password administrator to reset an MTU ISO user's password. Meaning the password will be set to a string of randomly generated characters.

Change User's Login ID

Allows an authorized administrator to change a user's login ID. Changing a login ID is quite complicated and has far reaching effects. This application helps an administrator by doing as much as it can programmatically and then telling the administrator what still needs to be done.

Guest Access

This application allows an authorized person to create an account for a guest of the university. Guest accounts automatically receive the privilege of using the wireless network (Rovernet), but other privileges may be granted using the privilege management tools.

MTU GlobalNet and Toll Free Dial-Up Settings

This application allows authorized users to setup GlobalNet and Toll Free dial-in access for MTU users.

LDAP Group User Lookup

This application allows authorized users to see all the LDAP groups a particular user is in.

LDAP Group Management

This application allows authorized users to manage the LDAP group they own by adding, deleting, or searching for members and/or owners.

View Cookie Tool

Allows authorized users to see what's in the WWWLOGIN cookie.

View Environment Tool

Allows authorized users to see what's in their web environment on www.login.mtu.edu.
